how many of you really desire to see people saved from their sin- then what we need to do is lead the ones to Jesus that need saving, not bash a certain sin. I do believe that homosexuality is a sin, but when I read a question that asked if they should stay of out of the church, it made me angry? Why you ask- because each of us was saved from something- if I had to stay out of a church until I was saved, I would never have been saved. Let us lead these, and others to the Lord by example, not pointing fingers at a particular sin. Everyone of us had a particular sin or sins that was an "unforgivable" in God's eyes, except through His blood. God loved us while we were "yet in sin". How about doing that for someone else, no matter the sin. What do you think?

hey- Lisa- I agree holding a leadership position would be wrong- however going to church is not. And Jill- God does love all sinners, including you and I, that is why Jesus died to save all of us, if we choice His salvation.

I agree with you completely. In general, Christians believe that homosexuality is some unforgivable sin or that it is worse than other sins. I think that is ridiculous. I think it is silly and very sad that some Christians make some written or even unwritten policy in churches that anyone that is gay is not allowed in the church. Everyone no matter where they came from, what they believe, what color their skin, whom they are dating, whom they are attracted to, what their past is or what problem they may have--everyone should be allowed in church. Everyone is in need of a place to worship. It is so sad that some people refuse to go because other Christians do not make the effort to make them feel welcome in the place of worship. You are absolutely correct. God loved us while we were still sinners. Nothing separates us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). We should be more like the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:14-16 and Philippians 2:2-15) and have nothing to separate others from the love we have for them. We should be practicing that unconditional love.

I can't believe it when I hear that people won't let or accept anyone in their church. The Church is made up of sinners from all walks of life. And yes, each one has their own little secret sins that they probably would not want anyone else to know about.
Church is like a hospital for sick souls. I agree with you 100%. Where are these types of churches that I keep hearing about that turn people away? Get out of that kind of church quick!!!!

God didn't say that you just needed to be born of the spirit to look and input the Kingdom. He stated that a character should be born once more because of this be stored to only be competent to look the Kingdom, however a character could additionally speaking approximately a stored character could additionally need to be born of the spirit in an effort to input the dominion. I suppose that the Kingdom of Heaven and Heaven are 2 extraordinary locations. If you're retailer you are going to be in Heaven someday, however the Kingdom of Heaven has to do with being his bride, and that's going to take being born of the spirit that is a religious Christian now not a Carnal Christian. As he stated simply since a character name s him Lord Lord does now not imply that he's a religious Christian, it does imply that he's a stored character however now not always a spirtual Christian. A religious Christian is one that lives his existence or trys very tough to reside their existence inside God's will. Now a carnal Christian remains to be stored however is a long way from liviing inside God's will.

I agree with you. That's kind of like people that put Christians down for speaking to people that are out in sin. How in the world can you witness to them if you don't talk to them! I agree with you. They need to be in church. I don't believe they need to hold a position in the church such as sining on stage in the choir, or being part of the praise and worship team until they get their life straightened out. But I do believe they need to be in church. How are they going to know to change their ways and lives if they dont' hear the word!

I agree.
I don't understand some Christians myself.
They do and say things that Jesus would never say or do.
Jesus came for the sinners, not the righteous (self righteous).
Christians are sinners also, some think their sin is not as bad as others, but in God's eye sin is sin.
Whether homosexual or murder or lying, etc., it's all the same.

I truly believe that if you are a Christian you would accept homosexuality as a natural choice for some people and stop judging them. If God made them that way then what is wrong with it. How is it affecting your life anyway? I am a Christian and if you say I am not then you must think you are God for judging me too.

My question is
If you are all sinners and God loves you, then why wouldn't he love other sinners, ie homosexuals?
I by the way am not Christian and I can honestly say this one of the big reason why.
