I walk to alot of christian couples, and I talk about heaven. They are like there's gonna be something better than my wife in heaven, or my husband. He or she is only a worldly thing. I am insulted, Why are you all so loveless. Now I know why the father say his love is not with marrages. You are all loveless when it comes to marrage.
1John2: 15,16
15. Love not the world, neither the things THAT are in the world. IF an man love the world, the LOVE of the Father is not in him.
16. For all that is in the world the lust of the FLESH, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
So there is NO SEX in heaven. But all desire something in this world...........is the teachings crazy,,,or do we have to seek for a heavnly way to have sex?
maybe our way is evil that is why it is not aloud in heaven.?

Christians are trying to explain what heaven is like and can only compare it to the love they know and think that you could relate to, they do love each other. They are just using what they consider an example that you can relate to. I am confused over the sex part of this question. IS this how you equate being loved, having sex? There is so much more to love than sex. I feel so bad for you if that is how you judge being loved.

When scripture speaks of the "world" it isn't talking about being in the world, but being OF the world. The "world" in this context means "worldliness" or in other words, shallowness and selfishness. The bible is saying people should be able to have deeper meanings to sex, beyond what animals can do... I mean G-d created sex, so it must be good when used in the ways He created it to be. Just like any thing else really, like medicines for example, you have to use the medicine for the right people, the right conditions, in the right amounts and in the right way. (That's alot of rights, no wonder people are so confused)! Like, hemp can be good.. unless you abuse it and smoke it to get high. This is really true for most any other drug out there as well. Anyway, when we are in heaven everything will become much more clear and won't have to worry so much whether or not we get sex or anything... life will be all about loving eachother and loving G-d and rest assured... everything about heaven will be very satisfying and pleasurable.

Child, I don't know what kind of 'christians' you have met but you are so wrong.
We have the same experiences as you or anyone else. And, we are quite proud of our relationships with our spouses and we boast about our love lives. We are saved by grace - that's what makes us christians - but we are all human, believe me.
It is quite disrespectful to say 'something better than my wife'. We are assured of an even better lifestyle and we do look forward to shedding these old clothes one day and being disease-free, pain-free, bill-free, etc. However, I can understand why you feel the way you do because of how someone else expressed his views. As a wife, I would be quite insulted.

Sex is God's gift to us to ENJOY in mariage. The husband/wife relationship is a picture of Christ & His Church. (We are the Bride of Christ). In heaven there can be no sex presumably because we won't have physical bodies, but when Christ returns we will have new bodies. I don't know what happens then, but I can't wait to find out. Hope this helps.
My wife & I have been married for 35 years, & we still love each other.Hope this helps

Not all Christians are loveless when it come to marriage. I am married and love my husband dearly. Heaven is something that I look forward to, but I also enjoy my time here with my husband everyday.

You are taking things out of context here. I love my husband with every fiber of my being and I would gladly give my life for him in a heartbeat. But I love Jesus more. The Bible says ANYTHING you put between you and God becomes your God and it says to have NO other God's before Him. So as much as I love my wonderful husband I love Jesus more. Doesn't mean i'm mean to my husband or don't take care of him or his needs. Just means I know where my salvation comes from and I know who my redeemer is!

My guess is that there's a wild variety among denominations. I was actually married in a Catholic church and the people doing the pre-canon stuff couldn't shut the hell up about love.
