Then why to people who do such, claim that they are children of the Father, God. Could they be decieving themselves? Could they be guilty of decieving others?
Could they be "prodigal" sons(daughters). Or were they "never known"?
I'm fine with people doing whatever they want to with their lives. But I just can't see how that lifestyle mixes with the record we have in the gospel of the NT or the history of the OT.

No, God does not approve of same-sex relationships. In the law that God gave Moses (not the ten commandments) He says that it is detestable for one man to lay with another, and is punishable by death. Sodom and Gomorra were destroyed because of the flaunting of homosexuality. God plainly stats in his word (the Bible) that it is a wicked, awful sin. They are deceiving themselves and others, and they will be held accountable. Usually people who think like that take bits and pieces of the bible and use that to justify their actions. If you read and apply the teaching throughout you could never say that behavior is acceptable.
As far as were they never known? I find it hard to believe that someone that would do that and promote a lifestyle like that is not truly saved or born again. If you are saved, the Holy Spirit dwells within you and you have a desire to please God, not go against his teachings.
God allows ever man to make their own decisions, he did not create robots. That being said he will hold us accountable for the decisions we make. " Be sure your sins will find you out."

What right this moment is composed of my innovations is that the father got here in the past the Son. yet interior the trinity doctrine, the Son is as previous via fact the father. How then can the Son be a real Son to the father in the event that they're the two eternal or of an identical age? the father and Son, in accordance to the Bible, are actually not equivalent. As a guy, Jesus stated the father grew to become into extra effective than he grew to become into. (John 14:28) As a spirit individual, that score did no longer substitute. As a million Cor. 11:3 says: "the pinnacle of the Christ is God." those no longer up on the trinity coaching will say that the father is God, the Son is God, and the holy spirit is is God. yet relatively of being 3 Gods, there is largely one God. Does the Bible say that? No. despite the fact that, the Catholic Athanasian Creed of the previous due 4th century CE does say that. in part, it states: "So the father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are actually not 3 Gods, yet One God." thousands and thousands of persons have been duped into thinking that the Bible teaches the trinity, whilst actual, they're putting their believe in a guy made checklist that grew to become into written up with the aid of adult adult males stimulated with the aid of pagan thinking. Is Jesus a real Son of God? nicely, does a father supply existence to his offspring? confident. At John 6:fifty seven, Jesus attributed his existence to his Father, asserting: "I stay via daddy." The trinity won't be in a position of be supported with the aid of the Bible. ask your self: the place does the Bible say that the father, Son, and the holy spirit are co-equivalent, co-eternal, almighty, and that all of them make up one God? the respond: NOWHERE! As you assert, there is not any such expression interior the Bible as God the Son. there is likewise no God the holy spirit the two. Such expressions are actually not something extra effective than trinitarian twists on the Bible. BTW, if Jesus is God, how does he have a God and Father? Col a million:3

The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Heterosexual sex is denounced dozens of times more often in the Bible than homosexual sex.
Homophobes just twist the Bible to their own ends. Hell, ALL Christians do that--they have to, because the Bible contradicts itself hundreds of times.
"As a man can drink water from any side of a full tank, so the skilled theologian can wrest from any scripture that which will serve his purpose." --Bhagavad Gita
P.S. To the anti-gay Bible thumpers: don't give me any of this "abomination" nonsense. I'd put money down that every last one of you is wearing clothing with mixed fabrics, something LIKEWISE referred to as an "abomination." Looking at the older translations you can see that "abomination" is used to simply mean unclean, not the exaggerated "super sin" connotation homophobes would like to wrest from it. That explains perfectly why such things as eating shellfish and planting more than one crop in the field are also, LIKEWISE called "abomination"s.
Either homosexuality is as trivial as wearing a shirt made of both cotton and polyester, or you are forced to admit that you are a hypocrite by not equally denouncing EVERYTHING in that chapter of Leviticus that is named an "abomination." You should be picketing Red Lobster on a daily basis, but no, I don't see any of you doing that, do I? Hypocrites, every last one of you.

It's not a "lifestyle". NOBODY sits around and decides, "Gee I think I'll love someone of the same sex and take the jolly risk of getting the pulp beat out of me, hated and maybe killed for doing something that a majority of people think isn't cool, 'moral', etc."
Not everybody agrees that your Bible is the ultimate authority on what's right vs. wrong and even if it were, don't you think you're being a bit arrogant to say that you can say what your "god" wants and doesn't? A real "father" figure is compassionate, wise and isn't such a hater as you're portraying.
To top matters off your whole omnipotent being concept is illogical anyway, so instead of worry what other people are or are not doing in their own lives, as long as they're not causing harm/suffering (i.e. rape, pedophilia, bestiality, murder, incest, theft, etc.) why don't you work on cultivating your own life to be altruistic, wise and compassionate?

correct. the Bible disapproves of it. sadly, people read what they WANT it to say, not what it says. so some sects made up of a lot of gay members will say "oh, the Dead Sea Scrolls actually don't say homosexuality". Hello! it says men shall not sleep with men, or have sexual relationships with eachother in general. the word is not needed. others, in desparation, will rewrite the Bible to fit it or ignore the Bible. since when is that okay? Scripture is of God. altering it (not diff translations, changing the meaning) would be going against God's word. others will say "it's only in leviticus, so its outdated". the NT has it to and was inspired by the Holy Spirit directly, not just looking upon older texts.
my guess is that they're just 'carnal': saved but living in sin. it's wrong. it's hard to get out of as well.

There are lots of things that are approved in the Bible that we disapprove of today (genocide, selling our children into slavery) as well as things that are disapproved of that we approve (other abominations like eating shellfish or wearing your favorite cotton-polyester blend) or at least tolerate (in the U.S. we have freedom of religion, which means freedom to violate the first two of the ten commandments). The issues are far more complex than your question seems to allow.

It is my feeling that the Bible is uncharacteristically clear on this matter.
Leviticus 18:22
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
I agree with you that people can go do whatever they want with themselves. The information about the consequences of such actions is readily available.
What frustrates me is the fact that I know that I as a heterosexual am called to repent of my sexual sin but homosexuals feel that they shouldn't have to repent because "God made me this way". Well, God made me hetero and I still have to repent.

Guess what, there are a lot of things we do every day that are considered sins. Is one sin more sinful than another? I guess the only one I could say that was the only unforgiveable sin would be to worship satan.
