I think this is hard to answer. I hate seeing the number of lives we have lost as well. I can't help but think though, that if we leave, how many more people die there. We look at all the death of soldiers, who are doing their job, and know the risk, but what about the people that live there.
I am glad to have been blessed so much by being born a US Citizen. There are people there that need our help, not to mention what these radicals could do, if left to spend their time planning an attack on our soil and the innocent people here.
I wish we could just leave, but I think the consequences will be very high, if we do.

2,752 Civilian killed in 1 day, 17 Sailors in one bombing, 1662 Homicides in 2 years in New York City, Atleast 198 Spanish dying in 1 day in their train bombing, 60 dying at a Lebonese refugee camp, I can't even find a number for the Annual Isreali death toll . . . If you want to talk numbers, ask those who have lost their families to suicide bombers, in the 9/11 attacks, those Kurds who saw their people terrorized by their own leader . . . . NO, it is not time to leave. if we back out now, these numbers will only go up, and within their civilian population. Our soldiers are currently sitting ducks because the liberal population within this country does not want to see them fight. They cannot hurt a woman who is protecting the terrorist who is cowering behind her. This is a WAR, no matter how much you want to think otherwise. When our government leaders side with the terrorists (Pelosi, Reed), and our media outlets describe what we are doing, and how to get around it, what else can we do, but fail?!?

Bush's War has lasted longer than WW II. What has he done for America in that time (other than killing more Americans than Bin Laden)? What has he done to catch Bin Laden? He's drained troops & supplies from Afghanistan to pour into his quagmire in Iraq. He lied us into his war, we're making no progress, Americans are dying daily, and Congress doesn't have the guts to impeach this madman.
Get our troops our of Iraq now. Or get Bush out of the White House with an impeachment. Or, in the next election, replace every Congressman who just voted against timetables.

Actually...the number is at 115 so far for May, but there are a couple days left. Its the 3rd deadliest month for U.S. troops since the war began.
And in my opinion...it was time to leave long ago.

Actually your figures are not correct.
There have been 120 military deaths in Iraq this month, of which 115 have been American. Funny how we never mention coalition deaths, isn't it?
I guess 3,466 sounds better than the actual 3,742!
What has driving got to do with being blown up in a war. NOTHING! What a bunch of imbeciles! There are over 1,200 children murdered every year by their parents! Think that is OK as well?
No, it is WAY PAST TIME that we leave!

Boy, in WWII you would have wanted to pull out after 1 hour. Our President doesn't have the luxury of letting emotion influence his decisions in a time of war. Look at the question you asked"112 SOLDIERS ...?". Are you aware that the soldiers are doing their JOB?

Not yet, dude ! The ragheads haven't waved the white flag, yet !
This thind has got to be won. You don't get tired or angry and take your ball and go home. These people (Islamic fanatics) have an agenda to kill all infidels. This does not mean just infidels in Baghdad, it means infidels throughout the world. The events of 9/11 are evidence of this. They will continue until boneheads like you just pray that we will drop a nuke in downtown Tehran and Damascus !
