They're not immortal. Read Ezekiel 18:4. Immortal souls are a concept stolen by Christianity from Plato.

There is a difference. Our souls are eternal and our bodies will be immortal after the resurrection. That will make each of us an eternal, immortal being.

I believe the soul is eternal, not exactly immortal.
And living forever as me, won't happen. My soul living on until its lessons are learned doesn't scare me at all. It can't take its place with the Gods until it has, so eh. Whatever.

Living for ever don't scare me. its just when this life is done, and i learned the lessons set out for me in this life. i know i can come back and have another go.. just think of the technology now, and how much it would have advanced when you come back again
