Don't take anything if you don't know what it is. And you should never flush medication down the toilet. Return any expired medication to your local pharmacy - they should have a program for unused/ expired meds for proper disposal (ie. incineration). This is much better for the environment, and safer for all!!

When in doubt of medication, it is best to dump it in the toilet and flush. Many medications not only lode their potency over time, but can actually become harmful. Never take a medication, that you don't know and fully understand, what it is.

Trash it.

Could be dangerous, and why on earth would you even consider taking a medication that you didn't know what it was, what effects it could have on you, or if it was even still good?
