yes. I loved him, he did & still does respect me (we're great friends still) & I don't regret it one bit.

I lost my virginity when I was 17 to a friend of mine. We're friends to this day, though not as close as we pretty much went our separate ways in life. I think he was exactly the right person to lose my virginity to. No, I didn't love him. Well, not more than a close friend, anyway. We cared for and respected each other. We did not go our separate ways on bad terms. And he'll always hold a special place in my heart because he eventually became the father of my son.

If it's the right guy then virginity is not lost. The dating scene is what you make of it, for as time goes on in a cozy relationship - things take place - arguments occur - fightings etc. and the departure kicks in. Words are exchange and you say awful things about each other.

To a guy I didn't know in the backseat of his car? Nope, probably not. lol.

Actually, it's kind of a fond memory of mine, so maybe it was the right thing for me. Of course, I'm 40 now and virginity and the way you lost it lose quite a bit of importance as you get older.

Yep, I even married him and have a great relationship that gets better with each day. We've been together 6 years now and I couldn't ask for anyone better and wouldn't want anyone else.
