This is a very good example of one religion influencing another. In my opinion, the Jewish exiles picked up some ideas in babylon. for example, the tower of Babel = babylon. Nimrod = a babylonian hero. Some people are pretty edgy about that sort of thing... but i don't think it harms my faith by any means. Yet another example is turning the water into wine = dionysius. If anything, i think it redounds to God's glory to show the sophistication of human culture, its ability to assimilate and display the divine truth in different ways, adapting to local cultures.
