i have an itchy vagina (not meaning to sound disgusting)
i have found small little spot like lumps on the vagina and its very itchy.
I no it's not thrush because i had cream for that but it hasn't worked.
I am working myself into a state, i just want to know if there is nothing to worry about?

I know, it's super embarrassing to go to the doctor...BUT you don't know whats going on and it needs to get fixed, right? I'd say suck it up, get a doctor appointment (if you have to, just tell your dad you have not been feeling well, or something like that), and make sure you are seeing a lady doctor...gynecologist is best, but a family doc could do fine too. Tell her you are nervous and to make it fast...most will be good about that. It will be over really quickly and you will be out the door with a prescription to feel better in your hand.

Also, having been though med school (I'm almost done) I can tell you that we see SOOOOOOOO many people's private parts, it is really just like looking at an arm or a foot to us. Whatever doctor you go to, has seen hundreds of vaginas, i promise. good luck!!!

Somehow you've managed to get an infection of some sort and you really need to be treated by a gynecologist. They will do a culture (which is just a way for them to identify what the infection is to be able to treat it correctly) and give you some medicine to stop the itching until it heals. Don't be embarrassed, I know it may seem incredibly humiliating to tell people about this, but for the sake of your own health, please tell your dad to make you an appt. Or ask a trusted aunt or grandma to help you get checked out. Don't make the mistake of thinking it will take care of itself, because it won't. Most likely it will get worse.
The yogurt suggestion is good, just make sure its Dannon or one with "acidophilius" in it's ingredients. It's a culture that promotes a healthy balance of good bacteria in your reproductive area. You'll be able to see that on the label...I'm not sure frozen yogurt supports a live culture..but you can check the label.
Your health is your most important asset....take care of it. :)

Well I know your only 14 , but a lot of 14 yr olds these days are sexually active. If so, not saying you are, it could be a sign of chlamydia. That is one of the first signs(Lumps or Bumps), that and they itch., They can be dormant, and flare up.... But for this, there is a cure. Definitely gather yourself and go to the doctor. Anything going on down there is not good, and you wanna catch ANYTHING, sooner rather than later. I know from experience. So I strongly urge you to. There could be many possibilities of what it could be, so don't let what I said worry you too much. Just trying to help!

Sounds like some sort of yeast infection. I'd do another round of the cream found at the drug store in the feminine hygiene section. Follow the directions - Also eat some yogurt (frozen is fine)
and keep the area as clean and dry as you can.

You have to tell your dad you need to see your MD -
and as horrible as it is (trust me I had 3 kids) they are immune to seeing private parts. You should still have a pediatrician so perhaps it's a female?

I know it might be embarassing, but you should really go and see a doctor... It could just be a rash from the hot weather or irritation from soap, but none the less I would see someone..Gynocologist will know what to do... I would suggest NOT taking a bath...that could worsen the infection... If you take a lot of bubble baths that could be it too...

Do not let it embarrass you as you need to be seen by a physcian and not self diagnosed. You might have a simple yeast infection, but you won't know until you see a physiian. After your visit with the physican you will be a lot less worried, and will get some relief from you symptoms. I I promise you !

You really need to go to the doctor. Lumps around vagina is never a good thing. However, from experience, you stressing about it will make it worse, so break your bearer, and go to the doctor.

If you're sexually active, it could be an std. I know genital herpes shows up as small white bumps...and they do itch terribly bad. Whatever it is, don't scratch them. It can spread it. Keep it as dry and clean as you possibly can, and get yourself to the doctor. Have an adult female that you trust take you if you don't want to speak to your dad about it. Might also request a female doctor, if one's available.
