Yes you could have subscribed to the County Paper in which county that you wanted to purchase Forclosures and read thru the Legal sections possibly at a fraction of the cost.

Watch your credit card online CAREFULLY for any charges which may appear. They didn't ask for your credit card number for indentification. They intend to make charges against it.

Call the firm back immediately and inform them that you do NOT want their service, and be prepared to challenge any charges with your credit card issuer.

Yes, you can get foreclosure information from your local, or the local newspaper in the particular city you are interested in buying, as it is published for at least four weeks and in most cases six weeks. Foreclosures are also posted in the court house in most counties. Why pay for something that you can get for free.
