Both are good, but romaine lettuce has a lot more nutrients and vitamins than iceberg. One way to test this is to look at the colour of greens you eat. The darker the green colour, the better it is for you. Hence, romaine is better than iceberg.

Romaine is also more filling than iceberg! If you're trying to just have a salad for lunch or something like that, having romaine or spinach will fill you up a lot more than just iceberg, and it also has a lot more nutrients.

Iceberg has no nutrients whatsoever. Romaine contains some. It would probably be better to eat spinach or mixed baby greens than romaine.

From the things I've heard about Iceberg lettuce, it seems to me that when you eat it, your basically chewing on water. Its got water in it and its low cal, but no nutrients that I know of. Romaine has more nutrients in it, which makes it healthier.

Romaine has more nutrients than iceberg. As a general rule, the darker the color of a vegetable, the more nutrients it has, and the better it is for you. This is why dark vegetables like spinach are very healthy for you.
