Depends if you get paid for being off sick.

Don't go if you feel unwell. You'll only pass the virus around our colleagues. Stay at home, watch daytime TV with a nice cup of tea, and have a doze on the settee.

That's what I'll be doing-had flu, chest infection, and now got Tonsillitis and a perforated eardrum (am ready for the knackers yard)

what is the point in going back to work feeling lousy! you will only make yourself feel worse and will result in having to have more time off of work...plenty of fluids warm baths wrap up well sweat it out and take paracetamol...but not with any thing else like lemsip etc because you will be overdosing yourself.....do little at a time and often otherwise when you do feel better it will knock you for six after doing nothing....seek doctors advice as well..

hope you feel better soon

I have a lousy cold also and I am at work today. You might temp me to take a day off Thursay or maybe Friday. I think Friday. Friday is my wedding Anniversary, it would be a good excuse for a day off to spend with my hubby. Thanks very much for a good excuse.

No definitely not - stay in bed and take painkillers and plenty of orange juice/water!
And have a long hot soak in the bath too if you feel up to that!
In these days of air-con you will spread it and nobody else wants it!
And don't feel guilty!

If you're feeling that bad, there is no way you can work. Especially not up to your best capabilities. Stay home and take care of yourself: The world won't end if you refuse to spread your germs around.

Stay at home, keep warm and have lots to drink. Paracetamol will help the aches and pains.
Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

Sounds like a day off tomorrow would be justified. In the meantime take 2 paracetamol and if you are no better call me in the morning.

Take a hot bath. Put on your fave p.j.s. Take a shot of whiskey, mix it with some honey and lemon and drink. Get in bed with a good book or movie. Relax. Call in sick.
