is this normal ? she is a 4 month old german sheppard rottweiler. And she usually foams from the mouth whenever we go on walks and it just seems weird to me

Those answers are all good, but did you also think that she might be getting into something? You may not notice her biting off of bushes or picking up another animal's stool. If you walk the same path, it might be something she passes every time that she is getting into. Just a thought.

She's getting overheated or overexerted somehow. My bulldog Manny tends to get a little foamy if I walk him for too long, or if it's too hot outside for him. I try to limit his walks to 10 minutes during the day, and maybe a little longer at night when it cools off.

She dehydrates very easily. My suggestion is to get one of those small dog bowls that attatch to a bottle of water and use it while you walk.....and give her a big drink when you get home. Good luck!

you may be going on too long a walk try shorter ones and make sure she has plenty of water sometimes they do that when they are thirsty

My dog does that when she smells other dogs or is stressed.
She does it less the older she gets.

She is DEHYDRATING!!! duh... you need to make sure is getting plent of water on this walk or before it.
