God wants to be served, God wants to be worshiped, Yet God never seems to do anything worthy of this adoration.

The traditional philosophers would say, I think, that God simply is, although totally "Other" than/from ourselves. As the Supreme Being, His essence is to exist. He is purpose in Himself.
When you talk about our ultimate purpose, you are asking to what are we aimed, for what reason do we exist. As creatures, our most basic aim is to know, love and serve our Creator Who has given us a chance to experience existence and love. But God IS. He IS existence and love. Since He is eternal, always was and always will be, He is his own purpose.

He is an idea created out of necessity to be followed as a leader. He is different things to many people, but ultimately our purpose comes from within or without. An acceptance of a purpose "to serve god" was given to you by another person.

well one is He created us and the purpose of Him is love, peace, joy and anything that is good. Heloves even the sinners. But the sinners also should love back. He is the one who keeps earth spinning i bet he laughs every time human scientists think they have discovered some 80 billion year old rock(no such thing because the earth is not even close to one million years old)

God does not have any servants (slaves).
Servants only exist in a L/R 'sides war' scenario.
Servants & Children differ nothing; They know not.
I don't call you a servant(slave), but a friend.
Thou art no more a servant(slave), but a Son.
Truly "free" is "above" such servants -vs- servants.
Charity never faileth is above forgiving one another;
Because charity thinketh no evil(law) to even forgive.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

God does for us everyday. You can do no more for God than what he allows you to do,we choose to serve him out of his love for us......He gives and we give to others....we are a channel in which God gives not only for us but for them.....
