Start by not reading the post that looks like they just copy/paste a view. Example: the 1 person to post. Global warming is happening but not because of human activity as most loons want you to hyperventilate over. Its the sun's solar output that's causing all the ruckes. It goes through cycles... about every 30 years it happens... Mostlikely this is the peak of global warming hysteria and we will be back to cooling.
Burning fossil fuel has very little impact on the earth. Block the sun and pump out as much CO2 in the air and the temp wouldn't even rise above 1thousandth of an inch. In fact it will dip so low that ife would not exist. Let the sun warm the earth and pump as much CO2 in the air and it may rise 1 degree in 20 years. Its not enough to change the way I live my life and my family's life.

Global warming is not human activity... global warming is the sun's activity on the earth.

Global warming is the latest scare tactic to get you to vote for leftists and/or leftist ideas. I am an old man and I have seen this kind of crap all my life. It will never end. Hitler used this tactic to gain power in Germany and it has been used by leftists ever since (probably long before also). The environment took the place of anti nuke of the 50's and anti war of the 60's. In the 70's it was the coming ice age. In the 80's it was the ozone hole. 90's the ocean was going to die and now its global warming. I guarantee you this will pass and you will be bombarded by some other crap in 10 years.

Generaly scientists say that the globale warming is the result of CO2 emission.
First, CO2 can be recycled and the increasing of temperature of atmosphere can be an advantage if we irrigate the drylands of the planet.
In fact until now we forgot to talk about the effect of the direct actions on the water cycle of human activities.
Too much drainage ,and runoff or deforestations reduice the infiltration . Too much over pumping of deep underground water reserves enlarge the volume of dryness of underground spaces.
The result is the increasing of temperature of rocks and then communicated in atmosphere in addition of green effect.
The reduction of biomass reduice the recycling of co2.

So in the futur , when peoples will stop turning turning for nothing arround the problem , they will water the deserts to restaure the climats.

But not now , later .... in 500 years from now

Global warming is how the earth recovers from ice ages.

The environmentalists know that we are still in an ice age and they will never run out of evidence of global warming because we will all be long gone before the earth's average temperature reaches the level at which it has always stabilized.

Notice that the the dips in temperatures, Ice Ages, are always ended by very fast rises in temperature, called Global Warming periods.

Notice also, that the average temperature on the low end of one of the Ice Ages, never got as low as the average temperature of the earth today!

All of the drops in temperature were believed to be caused by major disasters before the Global Warming Doctrine, which is very productive when it comes to scarring grant money out of politicians, replaced reasonable scientific research, which has become a waste of energy if you want grant money.

Don't let the Grant Schemers or their loyal subjects stress you out.

By admitting that you have no clue about something that you have no clue about, you are already identifying yourself as smarter than most of them.

To sum it up, the ozone layer is being made thicker and thicker by pollution, smoke, and harmful things to the enviornment addeing to it. The sun's rays normally bounce off of the Earth and some are trapped in the Earth (that's what warms) but since the ozone layer is being added onto, not all of the Sun's energy can get out. The energy is trapped in there, and so it's warmer. (hence "global warming").

I hope I sumed that up easy enough to understand, it took me a while to understand it was well, with all of the big words other people describe it with.

Global Warming is a natural phenomenon thich has occurred many times in earth's history. Liberals are currently using the fact that we don't know much about it to create a great deal of unnecessary fear. The most recent occurrance of GW was during the Middle Ages. Obviously, we're still here.

Earth's atmosphere naturally contains ABOUT 1% CO2. ALL of mankind's activities add up to about 0.3% additional CO2. This is statistically insignificant. Global Warming is a political farce perpetrated by Al Gore in order to make money selling 'carbon credits'. Don't worry about it. We don't NEED to worry about it. We only need to switch to renewable fuel sources so that our economy will not collpase when it gets too expensive to continue drilling for oil.

Some of our solar systems planets are warmer now than 20 years ago is ignored by the "We did it" crowd. How did my 1980 Oldsmobile cause Mars or Saturn to warm up? The information about our solar systems neighbors alone, makes the theory of green house gasses trapping heat on Earth and Our use of fossil fuels being the main culprit of this warming fall on it's face.
