Im a scientific Christian. What is that? A Christian who believes in science as much as the Bible.
I believe yes God did infact create us, but if we were created in His image, then God resembles a monkey. Modern man is the fourth generation of its species.
I also believe God created the universe, but not in the way the Bible described it. God set in motion the events that would form the Earth, He sent millions of metorites to hit the Earth and eventually after being constantly pelted, the Earth was a giant ball of lava which cooled down to form the surface of the planet.
I know Im about to get alot of disapproving ratings from people, but why is it so hard to accept scientific theories and religious theories at the same time?

I think that god created the "common ansester" and then set in motion a great plan that alowed the eventual evolution of human beings. All things on earth are from god, most things are old and have changed from the way they were origanly, but humans are gods children and what parent dosen't want to see their child grow up to become an adult. I relise that dosen't make much sence but I don't have time to go into detail about it... any way, god made life and life turned human.

I suspect that the CORE principle of Creationism / Evolutionism..are the SAME (differences in sematic, interpretation) :
1- 6 " days of creations"
2- 6 stages of evolution starting with BigBang : Quanta - Atom - Cell - Plant - Animal - Human
...
& the Alien Factor (Sumerian...)
Nevertheless - We came from the SAME Source
Let Move Ahead
Cheers

Life developed from the elements right here on the earth several billion years ago. That life evolved to become many different species of animals and plants and we are one of them. Now if you want to know where those elements came from, they came from the stars. Elements are generated inside the stars. The stars, just like our sun, are element factories. When they come to the end of their life they explode as supernova ejecting in the process millions of tons of hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, neon, all the way up to Iron. Want to know where the stars came from?

Bacteria who evolved into bigger organisms that eventually made their way out of the water and onto land. They then divided into the mammals and reptiles. Reptiles overran the mammals, as the reptiles grew to dinosaurs and the mammals were forced to live in the ground. A stroke of luck for us mammals a meteor hit the earth and cause a mass extinction of the dinosaurs, letting mammals reign supreme on the land. These mammals evolved and ta-da.
