We both bought scary halloween lenses without any perscription in them, they are soft lenses. They came with a warning not to let any one else wear them because you could get an infection. Is this true?

One should never share contact lenses, there is a great chance of risking infection. (Why someone is disagreeing with this, I don't know.)

Also, keep in mind, to purchase contact lenses, you had to be fitted for them. Your girlfriend's contacts and yours are not interchangable. There may be a different base curvature of the contact lens.

Yes, Josh, it's true, infection is possible, do not let anyone else use them. In fact, I am not sure you could reuse them, maybe, but only you. Our bodies all contain good and bad bacteria, and our eyes, they are so very important to us. Take care.

It is very true. You can also get in trouble because the proteins that her eyes produce does not match yours and visaversa.

It's not hygienic! Also you shouldn't buy non-prescription lenses, they can really damage your corneas because they haven't been made specially for your eye.
