lol ... no, since 2/3 of Americans are somewhat over-weight, the sales of vinegar would sky-rocket and cost $100.00/ltre. Gosh, can you imagine what your skin would feel/look like, after soaking in vinegar for 3 hours? ... it would probably peel your whole outer layer of skin off. Hmmm, wait a minute ...what does a human's outer layer of skin weigh, 20-25 lbs? Ha ... maybe it's true, but, you'd be walkin' around skinless!! :)

That sounds like an old wive's tale. You could turn into a human prune-all wrinkled-but that is about it, other than smelling like vinegar.
The best way to lose weight is to eat healthy, drink 8 - 8oz glasses or 4 1-20 oz bottles of water per day, and exercise-go for walks, swimming, ride a bike, skating, things like that. It's okay to have a few cookies or pie or ice cream once in awhile, just not overdone.
I wish you and your mom the best. Take care.

If you lie in a tub of vinegar for three hours, you will smell *awful*, if the fumes don't kill you first.

Track down whomever said this and make them do it at gunpoint!

The answer is: No. You will not LOSE (not "loose", as you spelled it) any weight by soaking in a tub with VINEGAR, or any other solution. This is an honest answer. Another honest suggestion: Invest in a dictionary.

If this were true, vinegar would be a valuable commodity and you would never see it in a regular grocery store.

Phony, false, fake, old wive's tale, someone's pulling your leg.

Besides, where are you going to get 30 gallons of vinegar?

i dont possibly see how that would work and all that acid would from the vinegar would not be good for your skin. as a matter of fact it could cause serious damage.
