defragmenting doesnt seem to remove the files from the system....only seem to compact them....i want to know how to remove them.

How can defragmentation remove files????? If you want to get rid of unwanted junk, you can use a system cleaning tool, there are some free and good ones listed here:

Remove what ? Defragment only put the files into the correct order, it cant delete things thats in use.

Defragging files simply replaces them on your hard drive in a better place or in less fragments. That way it doesn't take as long to access them.

Thus, you don't get more disk space back by defragging your system.

If you want to delete files, you have to delete them. Drag them to the trash can/recycle bin and empty it.

DOWNLOAD SECURECLEAN ITS FRRE FOR 15 DAYS , THE FULL VERSION, IT REMOVES ALL THE FILES THAT ARE STORED EVERYWHERE IN YOUR SYSTEM , THE ONES THAT ARNT NEEDED ANYMORE , ITS AWSOME I THOUGHT MY SYSTEM WAS PRETTY CLEAN BUT I RAN THIS AND FOUND 2500 FILES , IT REMOVED THEM , CLEANED EVERYTHING UP , COMPRESSED EVERYTHING , AND ITS RUNNIING LIKE NEW AGAIN

Go to add/remove in your control panel.
