LandofNod.com has GREAT rooms. Expensive, but I steal ideas from their catalog and do 'em myself (or find things cheaper).

Same thing with Pottery Barn.

Company Store also has lots of cute things.

Good luck!

If I were you I would avoid characters as he will grow out of his favourite so quickly. Maybe you could do a zoo theme or space theme that will grow with him? My 2 year olds bedroom has pale blue walls and a sandy colour carpet and red gingham curtains. He also has a red gingham rug. Hanging from the ceiling and on the walls I have hung up bunting, pictures, mobiles etc with a nautical theme. On his shelves he has a few wooden boats and a little wooden lighthouse. His bedding has boats on and was from ebay. It was really cheap as all I had to do was paint the walls and buy the bits and pieces which I have done over time and the end result looks great!

Try a home improvement center to get ideas. Or just browse various websites like Pottery Barn Kids, Target or JC Penney where they will show a whole room ensemble.

www.poshtots.com has VERY nice things but very pricey. If you're crafty, you can steal an idea and DIY.

I love Pottery Barn Kids, but they tend to be expensive! What I like to do is, look in the PBK catalog for ideas, then go shop at Target for similar products to create the same look for much less!

You could try the kids mags online like Parents, Cookie, etc. I also found a lot of ideas in books from the library, and also, wallpaper books checked out at home depot. Even though i didnt wallpaper.

It depends on how much you want to spend. If you can afford it, try www.potterybarnkids.com. They have WONDERFUL stuff for little boys' rooms. But if you need to stay within a budget, you might want to visit Target, because they have nice, durable items too.
