Even better, keep them in prison, but make them work for their keep. Plus, NO possibility of parole.
Keeping them in a prison like Tent City will cut down on room and board costs:

And they can do work to help them pay off the little they do cost.

First off I am against the death penalty...Some child predators absolutely can't be helped however I believe that some can. I took a course in college that discussed this issue in depth. There is a difference between a child molestor and a pedophile. I believe that there is a chance that some child molesters can be helped (depending on their motivations), however a pedophile cannot because their true sexual orientation is towards children. Pedophiles therefore will be life long offenders. Child molestors can have many different motivations. Offenders for example motivated by expirimentation or past victimization could possibly be rehabilitated. Therefore I believe that offenders should be closely evaluated. Since there is no chance that pedophiles can be rehabed they should most likely spend life in prison. However some child molesters should be offered the chance at rehabilitation.

Personally, I believe you have asked a really complicated question, that has a variety of pro's and con's for each of your choice's. It is my understanding that the high rate of repeat offenders shows without a doubt that the word " Rehabilitate " has little or no effect on their need to keep doing what they do. In prison, they are housed in a special area, called " P.C. " or " Protective Custody ". It is a small cell where they will live 23 out of 24 hours a day. Security around them is constant, and well experienced at protection. I personally believe that this is a absolute waste, but there are so many that have this idea that " rehabilitation" works, problem #1, Big Time ! I believe that surgical removal of personal appendages that enhance child molestation, is a sound recommendation, If they re-offend, bye-bye !!

This is a very good question. After reading what some others would like to do what more can one say. One thing is for sure vigilante justice is alive and well. And for another thing the justice system just doesn't work for these people. Prisoners rights is the problem. Why should people who molest children be segregated from the others? Why should people who kill children and rape 80 year old women be given a chance to do anything except line up for the execution? Our systems for dealing with these people is to damned lenient.

I drive a school bus for a living. I would enjoy driving over a molester's pelvis with my bus. Poetic justice. You hurt my children, I hurt you. Doesn't work like that though. In Ireland where I live there is a register for sex offenders. Hopefully that enables us to keep our children away from these "things" .Good old lynching also comes to mind. The best way I can see in preventing potential molestation is close parental monitoring of any different behavior in our young ones or any unusual interest in sexuality. Not always easy in today's times. I would say once convicted, a sexual molester should be marked in some way that he /she would easily be identified. lol

I totally agree with you. It's obvious that they're getting off so quickly nowadays. It seems as though our government doesn't give a damn about kids and what these sickos do to them! I'd want the death penalty for all of them. Once a predator, always a predator. Might as well take care of them before it's too late again.

In the criminal justice system, sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories....

Let them in GP...

Death is too quick. We should march them into prison in a pink jumpsuit (after having publicized their crimes within GenPop, of course). We should then introduce them to Bubba.
