I'm sick of walks, going to the park and I can't go shopping. We are limited in what we can do with him because of his age.. suggestions? Outdoor pools will still be too cold for him.

Go to the local Toronto Public Library branch and get a copy of their What's On magazine. They have Children's programs like Babytime Toddler Times and Children's story times. Also ask the librarian what's the upcoming events at your local branch. Sometimes they have an arts and crafts events, puppet show, etc., scheduled, but not listed on What's On.

Please pick up the Parents Today magazine, a list of free stuff and things for parents to do with their kids. It's at the library too.

Also, pick up your local Parks and Recreation Fun guide as well and look up your local community centres and what they may have available. There are indoor pools listed and child friendly. Many programs are cheap and some are free.

Check the community calendar at the library for other children's events at other locations.

Go to your local Loblaws to see if they offer activity lessons for moms and tots. Check their calendar which is usually posted near the cashier area.

Nothing is free these days in Toronto unfortunately. Go to the parks in Port Credit in Mississauga, you can't get bored of it, one of the few nice places in the filthy metropolis of the GTA left.
