Where is your evidence of this 'incident'?

As someone else has said, how did you know this person was a Police Officer?

At the end of the day, the Police are not above the law and are liable to the same laws as everyone else. That's one of the reason why we have to sit for hours writing up what we do with our days, to defend ourselves from people who are constantly trying to 'put one over' on us and make sure that everything we do is within the law.

If you have a problem with what a Police Officer does, report them, simple.

As of January or July 2008 (I can never remember which), it will be illegal to drive while speaking on a cell phone, unless you have a handsfree headset. That last comment about the police was uncalled for. What is your justification for this? How do you know that they are police officers?

Really unfair. I copped a 60 buck fine for just holding my mobile while driving. When I went to pay the fine I asked the man in charge why the are using mobiles and driving. He told me staight out to mind my business and not cause trouble. So what do we do as democratic citizens? I'm personally wary of stirring up a hornets nest. I live in a small town. lol

So that people can bash police for not following the laws they enforce.

Thats what it seems like anyway, but, those are the perks of the job. However, look at it this way. If you are stopped for DWI, you are going to spend the night in jail, have to go to court,a few times, you may have to go to a few AA meetings, and have a restriced license for a year. Your boss may or may not even find out about it. If you're a police officer, you have all of those, plus you get demoted, you will HAVE to go to mandatory 28 days in inpatient rehab, and you will have your vacation time taken away.
