my staff is sick i think ... i dont think its anything to worry about .. his symptoms are like when a human gets the flu feels hot but he is shivering .. finding it hard to stand does any 1 know if its serious or just a bout of flu ???

dogs dont get flu??? funnny vet told me they do and hes back to hois normal self today running about nicking kids shoes etc so i think ppl who say they dont get flu need to look into it more coz they do sorta get a cold/flu or wateva ya wanna call it coz hes right as rain and the vet said he was fine too

Er, dogs do not get 'just a bout of flu', it is going to be something more serious! Even if it was 'just flu', this can be fatal even in humans you know!
Take the dog to a vet. If he's hot this is usually the sign of an infection, which can be anywhere. The fact that he's finding it hard to stand should be enough of an indicator that something is very wrong, so wait no longer! The infection could be in his internal organs.

Take him to the vet, dogs don't get flu. He has a temperature & if he is having difficulty standing it is serious.

Has your staff been out in the sun? It sounds like it could be heat stroke but im not a vet, call the vet and let them know and they will advise you over the phone. I hope your staffy gets better soon.

You take him to the vet, who will give him the appropriate treatment, and you appropriate advice. if he's having difficulty standing, this is more than just a cold, so make an urgent appointment

Dogs do not just get flu. as we know it. Get your dog to a Vet pronto if you think it is sick. You are in charge of that dog and are therefore reposible for it.

This IS something you need to be worried about. My aunt raises am staffs and this happened to one of her pups, turns out he had eaten the stuffing from a cushion and he nearly died from ingesting it.
Get to the vet ASAP
