Plucking is safe, as long as you wash the area first and keep your tools clean.
If it's a small area, pluck - lasts longer, no 'bristly' regrowth. hair does come back.
examples: eyebrows, upperlip [ most painful area ], under chin.
Large area - shave, depilatory, wax, electrolysis, laser hair removal
TO PLUCK ; do it after a shower/bath. Use quality tweezers, a mirror that magnifies, and toner.
Brush all eyebrow hairs straight up, then determine which areas should be plucked.
Thickness should be determined by the thickness of your lips [ thinner lips-thinner brows, thicker lips-thicker brows.
Shape should be determined by your face shape. [ see eyebrowz.com - they have shapes and great stencils to look through ]
Place a pencil straight up along the side of your nose - this is where your eyebrow should begin.
Now place the pencil along your nose, and point the top to the outside edge of your eye - this is where your eyebrow should end.
The highest point of the arch should be over the iris of your eye.
Pluck one hair at a time.*The first time you pluck is the most uncomfortable, but it does get easier as you go along. If it is really bad, use some Anbesol. [it works]
Re-assess every 5-6 hairs, so you don't overpluck.
When finished, apply toner [ cooling will feel good and help close pores ] or cold wet teabags, or aloe vera gel. Do not use lotion or creams [ to prevent breakouts ] until about one hour later.

ok well first of all i am a professional skin care therapist(Esthetician) and everyone's hair is different.. it shouldn't grow in thicker if anything, thinner but theres no way to tell. The best thing to do is get electrolysis- thats the only permanent form of hair removal- it wont grow back then.
