It is scary the most hawkish people in the USA avoided miltary service----maybe they just became hawkish and are to old to fight now???

To be fair, you should list Democrats who've never served either.

John McCain...did you list him?

Or George Senior?

Great question. They're hawkish now because they won't have to go to war themselves, they can just sit back and rake in the oil, energy, and government contract money.

What's interesting as well is to see the long list of Democrats who have served. I can think of two that were awarded the MOH (Daniel Inouye and Bob Kerry).
