I think it is more likely that Christians get so worked up and aggressive when being proven wrong or driven into a corner that they cannot reply to, by referential logic or apparent evidence. Instead of just being humble and say " I'm sorry, I dunno but I will check it out" they usually prefer to lashout at threats of eternal hellfire and damnation.

Christians cannot expect non-believers to be open-minded and humble if they themselves do not exhibit these qualities... Like if a non-believer asks you " Is there a possibility that evolution is real?" Can you be open minded enough to sincerely say "Yes?"... and the key word is Sincerely... ( remember lying is a sin )...

First Be Open Minded and Humble, before you DEMAND others to be Open Minded and Humble to you... for others to humble themselves for you needs respect, and respect needs to be earned not enforced.

wow, just by switching around a couple of words you get the atheists argument....

'Why are Christian's so horrible at reasoning the atheist evidence? And is that why they're Christian's?
Apart from being closed-minded and arrogent.'

Close minded? You're the one who's already decided that you must be right no matter what.

A new scientific discovery could come out tomorrow that would reshape the way we see the world and most atheists would accept it. Christians won't, they will stick with what their bible says - even though it's proven disastrously wrong on pretty much every account and only spurs violence and hatred.

We've known for several decades that homosexuality occurs in the brain, there are discernible differences in brain structure in homosexuals, so it is not (in any possible sense) a choice. However christians ignore this simple fact and cling to their hatreds.

The difference between atheists and christians, you and me, is that I look at the evidence and base reasonable conclusions on them, you cherry pick little pieces of evidence (which are often wrong, distortions, or other crap you get from your pastors) and then try to use them to reinforce your belief in god. You've already decided there is a god and are actively trying to prove it to your doubting self. Atheists on the other hand are open to the facts and not trying to prove anything except the truth.

Narrow minded christians calling atheists closed-minded and arrogant is really a case of the pot calling the kettle black. I am neither christian, in the way you understand that religion, or atheist. I am a Gnostic follower of the teachings of Jesus.

You're trolling, and you're not even good at it.
Your shtick is showing.

How can atheists be horrible at reasoning the Christian evidence? They haven't SEEN any evidence.

What praytell is this evidence you speak of?

Show me or link me your evidence and I'll will comment further.

As for closeminded and arrogant.....isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black? I do not assume you to be closeminded and arrogant just because you are a christian. But then, if you treat others as you want to be treated.......

For me it's mainly being closed-minded and arrogant, but there's a little of that "horrible reasoning" thing in there too.
Basically, I'm just a mess.

You have substituted an attack for a question. Is your argument so week?

Beyond St Thomas, bunnies, and sunsets, what evidence are you speaking of?

Christian "evidence" would not hold up in any court in any nation, i.e. the "creation museum"

Thanks for playing

I'm unsure what "reasoning the Christian evidence" could possibly mean.
