Has our way of life made global warming speed up or worsen or has our way of living had nothing to do with it at all?

kinda egotistical to think that humans can change the weather of a planet. Considering we still cannot predict rain.

Global warming may be happening but whose to say its not doing it because its time for the world to heat up. Everything goes in cycles. We have not had thermometers for that long anyway. The technology to measure the earths surface temp has only come around in the last century. Stop watching the news people. If we do maybe they will report fact again instead of shock news.

Now are we killing ourselves with pollution? yes sir. and this whole ozone scare....wait what the ozone hole is shrinking how could that be? Solar farms heat the earth by not allowing the earth to reflect it back. Same for trees if you want to cool the earth cut down all the trees and the deserts will reflect plenty of sunlight. These damn spiral light bulbs that save 5 bucks a year on energy the contain a lot of mercury. So if one breaks in your house you need to call poison control. Estimated cost of mercury clean up is 2 grand. So 2 grand over 5 dollars... yeah I'll keep using my same old light bulbs. Here is a good link to your hero's energy bill over the devils

All information on global warming would indicate that it is a good thing so worsen is not an applicable word. We can't affect the weather. We want to but only the delusional would believe it possible. More co2 would make plants grow quicker and stronger. Plants would resist disease and drought much better. Unfortunately the increase in plant growth would deplete the co2 so we would be right back where we started. By the way most co2 is consumed by phytoplankton in the ocean. Phytoplankton generates about 70% of all the oxygen in the world. Oxygen is produced when the carbon atom is stripped from the co2 molecule and used as food. Same for plants. The more co2 the better. Nature should be held in awe not feared.

The very idea is silly. I am truly amazed that there are so many people who have already responed to you that actually believe that science has proven that man has caused or worsened or can effect global warming. Nothing could be further from the truth. There has never been a single proven, repeatable experiment that proves this to be true. Not a single one.

There are plenty of impressive sounding "papers" floating around the internet and more opinion that grains of sand on a beach but there is nothing even approaching scientific proof. Once a fact has been proven, using the scientific method, there can be no further argument. In this case you have nothing but argument.

You will get all kinds of claims from so called experts. However, once they run into a truly informend person who asks them the correct questions their position always changes from absolute fact that man is responsible, to we have no time left to wait for scientific proof. We must act!

Act? Act how? We don't know what would work and we do not know what won't work and we don't know what other problems we may be causing with our actions.

Funny how these things, wether it is an ozone hole, a new ice age or global warming always and I mean always come from the political left. Not a single time have I seen the political left question such claims. Not a single time. They are always convinced and ready to take whatever action there self-appointed leaders tell them to do.

Americans never used to be so maliable.

There really is no doubt that humans have made global warming worse. We emit a lot of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by driving cars, burning coal, etc. etc. and carbon dioxide is a known greenhouse gas.

There's a lot of debate about how much humans have made global warming worse. Some people think that most of the recent global warming is due to "natural" causes (though they don't have any evidence to support that claim). Most scientists think that humans have caused the majority of the recent global warming. Either way, there is no question that humans have caused SOME global warming.

There are many scientists who believe GW is a natural occurrence and that the climate is always changing. When you have 73 minutes to spare, you should check out this documentary. Keep an open mind and consider that they might be right.

Worse. Several factors include fossil fuels, chemicals and land development/usage. If you believe in physics, for every action there is a reaction, theory of relativity, everything is relevant to another - Albert Einstein then you have to accept the fact of global warming and it’s impact it’s having today.
Arguments to the contrary usually have a level of benefit to them. In other words the tobacco industry for years has said its products do not cause cancer and were not addictive. You can choose to believe the last statement, a lot of people did until the last decade, but it was completely false.

When you state that fossil fuels is a cause to global warming look at the number of industries, jobs, and share holders you implicate. Even in this case there for every action there is a reaction. Who wants to be known for destroying the earth? No one, so lets deny global warming.

The way we are living responsible for the speed up of global warming. The biggest caused by the consumption of energy which produce Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the air. That why, the firewood is banned or should be reduce as lowest as impossible.
Commonly, in depeloved countries, the use of firewood and gasoline produce CO2.

yes of course we have!! you see,
global warming is a serious issue that is affecting the planet.when we use polluting products, it forms a blanket over the earth. the suns rays go through the blanket, but can not come out. this rapidly heats the earths surface. Each year we continue to pollute, the blanket gets thicker.if the massive ice sheets continue to melt, it could flood the earth, since most of the earths water is frozen in glaciers.
according to the website stop global warming.com, the u.s. with only 4% of the worlds population, is responsible for 22% of the worlds greenhouse gas emission. if you want to learn more buy the DVD An Inconvenient Truth. global warming is really sad but their are many organizations trying to help. you can sponsor them like my parents have and make a difference ! i would hate it if i have kids who don't know what a polar bear is!!!! sad sad sad sad sad sad sad sad sad sad! you can help!

We may have made it come a bit sooner than normal but it is a natural occurrence and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. The earth gets one inch closer to the sun every year which is going to increase temps.

If we have made it worse, it is infinitesimal. Besides that, we have no idea HOW we effect it. Therefore, we have no idea how to reverse it. And even if we did know how to improve things, the LAST thing we need is a "government solution". Government never solves anything. In fact, history shows that government usually IS the problem.
