Yes, just make sure if you buy one at the store there is NO vinegar. To make a nice dressing at home mix equal parts of mayo with chili sauce, for thousand island. You can substitute catsup for the chili sauce.

When making salad dressing with a powder mix, especially Italian, try substituting orange juice for the vinegar.

And those new spray on ones limit easily how much you put on the salad.
