How do I earn my way of getting a Cell phone from my mother?

well one day i had ask my mom can i get a cell phone and she always says yea u really need a cell phone and I am like mommy if I need a Cell phone why wont u give me one then she be like well u have to earn the phone and im like aww man momma i really want to have one

Get a job, or do chores to earn money, to pay for a cell phone. They can be pretty expensive. Good Luck!!

You're mom's right. You don't NEED a cell phone - but all your friends HAVE cellphones.

It's been like this for generations. The answer has always been the same.

Make as good grades as you can. If you need help, ask for a tutor at school.
Do your home chores without being asked.
Learn how to handle money well - Save half your allowance if you can - and don't blow the rest on stupid stuff.
When you're wrong - admit it and take the consequences without whining or pleading.
Just because you WANT something NOW doesn't mean you'll get it NOW - or ever - if you know what I mean. That means, be patient.

Do these things for a year and then ask Mom. That way you'll have some concrete evidence that you have "earned" the right to have a cell phone.

Whining and temper tantrums and pleading etc. show you're not ready for one yet.

When you're old enough, get a part time job so you can buy your own cell phone.

The first time my kids say "like" or whine then they're pretty much out of the game.

Earn the money to pay for the phone and show you are responsible in your behaviors in other areas of your life - this is the best way to earn the right to have a phone

here is how you will earn a cell phone from your mom....
make good decent grades.

be honest and trustworthy.
do not have a attitude towards your mom...be sweet and loving to her
be helful...ie; dishes being done without being told to...laundry fold put up dust vacum....without being told...
be appreciative to your mama and say sweet things to her and really mean them...
don't do alcohol or drugs or run around with guys having sex and doing nasty stuff like staying out all night bed hopping..etc..
just be a nice honest and sweet person toward your mom tell her how important she is to you and u appreciate what she does 4 u...trust me u will have a cell phone in no time if u follow simple rules
dont break the rules after u have the phone either or u will end up phoneless!

Ask her what she wants you to do to earn it. My step daughter asked me the same thing. I told her honor roll at school, pass all big tests, and do chores without me having to ask.

Maybe start showing reponsibility and not just expect things (like a cell phone.)
