This is an open and honest question for both sides. I am not by any means suggesting all tht are atheists are but Ican't help but finding the ones who seem to show the least attempt to be reasonable or respectful often are. Agree or disagree? I will add this admission not all believers show much respect either.

I respect peoples opinions and right to believe what they want I just find it hard to believe that so many resort to referring to opposing viewpoints as stupid and brainwashed and any other derogatory term.

I read a quote some time ago it was by a relative of Huxley's (Darwins Bulldog) It was a very open and honest admission. But he admitted as much. If I can find it I will add it later. I need to go for now.

Crisscorss every society has laws. Some have had brief stints wit anarchy but they didn't last long. No one wants to live in a society without any laws. Imagine a highway without any rules. Our societties happened to be based on democratic principle. So Christians can't be blamed if you can't convince enough people that your view is correct. other cultures has laws similar as well.

I see some Christian disrespect Dragon but no where near the constant insinuation about Jesus and God raping people and all kinds of nonsensical rhetoric that is only hoping to inflame others. Also there is no shortage of those who oepnly promote hate and their desore to kill. Again some so called Christians may act juvenile like this but no where near what I witness in here.

Like i have often mentioned tose who criticize intelligent design theorists have shown little evidence that they have ever read any of their material. Its as though they don't want to even open themselves up to the possibility that they have something intelligent to contribute.

Reporter I didn't say opposed to God but the concept of God. There is a difference.

Reporting shouldn't be frivolously abused.

Another note to reporter. I haven't imposed any God or religion in school so I have no idea what you base your rant on. As far as politics goes democracy means everyone has a say not just those who agree with us.

Yes, this has been my experience. People want to live in a manner that pleases their fleshly desires and to "hell" so to speak, with the consequences.

Truth be known I have no idea.

I've never ever really met a person face to face who has ever been violently opposed to the concept of God. That is not to say they haven't crossed my path its just that they haven't gotten in my face and yelled at me for being a christian or tell me how stupid or retarded I am. This is why I used to say here I don't believe in atheist. I've never met one like the ones I find here.

I however firmly believe that those who are violently opposed to the concept of torah (old testiment) do so to protect there lifestyle choice.

Christians repent!

What exactly is reasonable about insisting that there is a god who you cannot prove exists and then forcing this god's ancient laws into state and federal laws even though we have a clear separation of church and state? If Christians cannot stop from doing this they really have NO ROOM AT ALL to go calling anyone else unreasonable. And even if you personally are not doing it, you are still associating with a group who does do it. If you are part of a group, it is your moral obligation to society to encourage and motivate the group to act right or to leave the group. By doing nothing, you are making yourself part of the problem.

short on time, so indexed right here are some short solutions: examine the Genesis account interior the Hebrew. that may not what got here about in any respect. It had no longer something to do with Eve desirous to be equivalent in awareness. the entire Lucifer account has been raped via the church. He by no potential had to be equivalent. He replaced into created to do basically what he's doing. The Tower of Babel account had no longer something to do with what you have stated. Equality replaced into no longer even interior the equation. John Lennon. accident. greatly surprised you may even attempt to make one in all those connection. isn't accident a customary expressions for many atheist and how maximum issues in life are defined? Jesus stepped down via his own will for mankind. because of this, God has exalted him. You comfortably skipped over the verses which say that Jesus is at the instant sitting on the terrific hand of God, meaning he's equivalent. What made Jesus equivalent to God? His love for mankind and his selfless sacrifice for others. that's what makes us equivalent. that's as quickly as we like others as much as we like ourselves regardless of what they do or do no longer do for us. that's what makes us equivalent. Being egotistic and desirous to be equivalent does not make us equivalent. that's basically arrogance and not on the midsection of God. you want to be equivalent with God? Love actual anybody as he loves them. stay for others. this is the message chanced on in the time of scripture.

The ones who protect the concept of God also do it to protect their lifestyles as well.

I agree. No one knows anything for certain. The only truly certain thing is death. People should just realize that and stop passing ignorant judgements on other people's beliefs.

Lifestyle choice? What lifestyle choice. I live and there's nothing unusual about my life except that I don't dedicate it to any god.

Yes, I'm defending my right to life, liberty and happiness. Religion does NOT guarantee ANY of those. I want the religious to butt out. There's nothing horrible in that. And the religious "lifestyle" is as much a choice as any other.

I have not found this at all.

Most Christians are all about protecting their lifestyle choice, even thrusting it upon others, and they're not opposed to god at all.
