It's just a way of saying "for sure"... In some places people say words differently, for example, here in Louisiana some people say: "grocery stow" (store), "on the flow" (floor), "I want mow" (more), "fo' show", etc... I don't know why, I guess it's just the accent... (when I moved here I didn't understand half of the things they told me, now I'm used to it)

"For sure"
It's usually pronounced "fo show", not "for show."
You bet. Absolutely. Definately. Sounds good.
Edit: Smyles is partly right, but it's not a Southern accent. In the South, you get a lot of "fer sher". That's how it is in east Texas, at least. I'm pretty sure it is from ebonics.

For show is doing something just for others to see you. Either to see you at a nice restaurant to having things such as a flashy car to show people you have money.
These kinds of people are usually very shallow, not much to them....

It's "for sure" originally said with a southern dialect/drawl, I think, but now, people from all over say it that way...just a phrase now..lol
It just means, definitely, of course, sure, yes, etc...

I suspect a heavy accent. The response was probably, "For sure", pronounced "Fowa Showa".... probably from New Jersey.

It means sure thing. I just don't get why people won't say that.
