I am 20 years old when I first met her. I met my girlfriend when she was 12 year old at college. (She's a college student, her parents put her to kinder at age 4 and skipped 3rd grade. and got her GED at age 12) When she became 13, I asked her out and she became my girlfriend. now, she is 16 year old and out of school and got a job. I am 24 year old with a job also. We are very much in love with each other. I am planning to get married with her. We've been together for 4 great years. I knew she was the one for me. I hear if I do have sex with her, I will be in trouble with the law (statutory rape), I really want to have sex with her. I don't want to wait anymore, it is going to be at least 2 more years then I can legally have sex with her. I would never leave her if she gets pregnant. I'm too much in love with her. What do I do with my sex drive and how to I ask her to marry me? do I tell her parents about me marrying her? They are okay with me dating her.

i know she wants to get married with me because she told me. She's been taking me by hand to engagement ring stores, looking at bridal magazines. I want to get married with her too.

......~?~........~?~......dude, I don't even know what to say or where to start. I think this is one of the most ridiculous situations I've ever heard of.

WTF are you doing at age 24 dating a 12 year old! My daughter is 12 and I'd have to say that if I EVER heard of a 24 yr old perv having those thoughts about her I'd cut his "" off myself and hand it to him on a silver platter.

EVEN IF she IS talking about the glory of a wedding....SHE'S STILL A LITTLE GIRL AND TO HER IT"S LIKE PLAYING PRINCESS!!

I think YOU are the one who needs to grow up and find someone just as disturbed as you that's AT LEAST your own age!

I don't know the customs of your country but so far you have behaved honorably. Keep up the good work. Abstain from sex until she is of age or there will probably going to be serious consequences that will injure both of your careers - and probably put you in jail.

Truly, if you love this girl as much as you say, you will wait until she is of age and not dishonor her before hand.

Asking her to marry you is pretty easy - it's asking her parents that will be difficult. However, they approve of you dating her so you must have met them at least once... And what do your parents say about you dating this nice girl?

Does your country arrange marriages through match makers? That may be a possibility.

That said, if her parents (and yours for that matter) agree that you are very good for each other - then you should speak with a lawyer (you, girlfriend and both sets of parents) about whether you can apply for a special license that will allow you two to marry.

But this must be done carefully. Speak with both of your parents (hers, because they are legally responsible for her and yours because you honor them) and then a lawyer.

Good luck.

Most states the legal age is 16...but as long as you have parent's approval you can always engage in sex. Just make sure that it is something you BOTH want and not just you. 16 is a tad young (in my opinion)...but if its right for the both of you then you'll know. Best of luck to you.

I think you should wait. She is not an adult. School does not make you an adult. Maturity comes with age. Do not spoil it for her, let her grow into what she wants. Two years is only half the time you have already waited.
