If this is something new, see a doctor. Changes in your daughter's life, ie moving, new sibling, new school, etc can bring on a regression in the potty training area. When my daughter started Kindergarten we went through quite a few pairs of panties... If she just hasn't gotten potty trained yet, try making a sticker chart and creating a rewards system. I make potty charts and behavior charts for my kids and my nephew. At this age, visual reinforcement is HUGE. Actually seeing progress on the wall, and working towards a reward (start small, for a whole day of dry pants she could get a sucker.... slowly progress to a week and a bigger reward). Also, constant reminders and trips to the bathroom will help her succeed and if you praise her in addition... it will ALL come together.
This can be very trying but your patience and understanding will make a huge difference. I don't reccomend punishment as it rarely works for potty training, it just creates a sense of shame and may cause your daughter to try and hide her accidents rather than encouraging her to be honest.
(Remember that alot of the people giving advice above probably DO NOT have children)

first address it with her doctor...there might be a problem. if there is no medical reason then maybe...just maybe she's acting out. Is there a new baby on the way, did one just arrive? Does another sibling need more attention right now? there could be a million reasons why she's still wetting her panties. This could be a sudden regression and if so you need to find out why. But please DO NOT scold her too horribly or punish her especially if it is out of her control, trust her for now if she says she doesnt know when she has to go. She's 6 and she should know at this point, and if she says she doesn't then believe her until a doctor say otherwise.

She probably wants to keep playing instead of using the bathroom. However, if she says she deosn't realize it take her to a doctor and tell her the doctor will know if she realizes it or not. She will speak up if she has been lying. She might have a blader control problem. Anyways tell her to go to the bathroom every 20-30 minutes. She'll get tired of having to stop playing and go so much she'll stop wetting herself.
Does she also wet herself during the night??

My 6-year-old does the same thing. I took away his Nintendo DS because I figured it made him lazy to get up and use the bathroom. This didn't make the problem go away. I told him that next time he wets himself, his time out will be in the bathroom, where he can remember to use the bathroom when he gets the urge.

this sounds like something my niece used to do. She's just get too busy or distracted to know when she had to use the bathroom. They have a wonderful product now, it's the pull up's with the cool touch... when they go in their pull up's it gets cold... i'd give that a shot.

One of my friends daughters was starting the same thing and she just started putting her in time out, whenever she wet herself. She knows when she needs to go, and mom thinks that she is acting out because of little brother. Seems to be working. ALso maybe your daughter could have a bladder infection. Wouldn't hurt to get checked out.

Bribery! I believe in bribery.
Tell her if she goes for a week and uses the loo, she could choose something that she really wants.
And if this works, use lots of praise.
