I'm 24 and have always seem to have this problem. Any help? I've been using a neutrogena cleanser that keeps both nice and clean but for a limited time. I'm willing to commit to continual use of a product but over a time you'd think you could skip a "dose" or two without having to worry about this problem but that's not the case with the product I'm using. Any ideas?

Adopt a good skin care regemin to include moisturizer. A good cleanser and moisturizer will prevent your skin from over-producing natural oils. Really! I suggest Avon's True PoreFection line formulated especially for oily skin and backed with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. View the site and learn the details about each product.

1. True PoreFection Skin Clearing Gel Cleanser am/pm
2. True PoreFection Skin Refining Toner am/pm

First of all besides just your face wash you should evaluate your lifestyle and what may be causing it.
A lot of times it's hereditary but there can be other issues. Using a mineral make up is much better for your skin; like bare essentials.
Also your appetite can effect your skin drastically. Have a diet rich in proteins and less in sugars, fluids and salts. Eat plenty of green vegetables and fruits. Vitamin B2 deficiency can cause oily skin. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins. Reduce amount of fat in your diet.
Too much washing (more than 2-3 times a day) can stimulate your skin to produce more oil.
Avoid cleansing creams as creams have a lot of moisturizers in them. Try using a foaming cleanser or even a bar soap with hot water. Hot water dissolves oil better than luke warm water.
Good luck!
Oh and the good thing about oily skin is that it stays young longer!

A friend of mine uses blotting papers to minimize oil on her face throughout the day. They're like little pieces of tissue; some brands have powder, and some don't. They soak up the oil in a second, then you just toss them away.
I've even used them in a pinch to minimize greasy roots when I don't have time to wash my hair!
You may also want to try a product like Origins Zero Oil, which supposedly controls oil all day, though I haven't tried it.

Keep your hair short in the front and try to minimize the amount of product you put in your hair.

Also, don't over wash your face. Washing TOO much can actually work against you.

I can't think of a specific product that would work for you, but if you just keep the hair off your forehead and don't over wash, you should see results.

Wash regularly with a mild soap and wipe with a clean towel. Do not go for heavy make up.

Oily face has an advantage which probably you might not be knowing. You will not age fast like others and gives you a youngish look.

Use a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol every morning and every night before bed....This will dry it out and keep it clear....
Just wipe it on and you'll see all the dirt and oils come off. After washing your face you'll be surprised at the amount of dirt left on your face. The alcohol will clean it real nice..

Blot with rice paper, like the clean and clear oil blotting sheets and use tea tree oil after washing.

this seems really odd, and it is but it works so good. in like public bathrooms they have paper you can sit on so you dont touch the seat, take one of them with you (not used of course) and take a little piece and rub it on the oily parts and you will see the oil on the paper! i hope this helps
