a couple of "hair spa" questions...?

first... what does "hair spa" do to your hair?

* does it straighten out your hair?
* which is better to treat your hair to a "hair spa" or to a "hair relax + hot oil"?

I have dry hair but not brittle, please base your answer on this info..
