Actually, I'm now annoyed that my Greyhound is fixed - I could have made a fortune breeding him with Doberman b1tches to produce nice modern greyhound type leggy dogs! The guy advertising wouldn't recommend it though! Surely no-one would be taken in by such an ad would they? The only thing is that some will, and will go on believing they have got a bargain. Of course such people will probably be bring their own "rare" types of ***** to him, so mutt + mutt = mutt, and as long as they are all happy, and stupid enough to part with their hard earned cash then all will be right in the world of BYB's!

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/uPp6S
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

Please try DARE - Doberman Assistance, Rescue and Education - located in Northern VA and MD.
As a Dober-mom - there are so many wonderful dobermans out there whose former owners for one reason or another couldn't/wouldn't care for them properly. DARE is a reputable, respected rescue agency.
That said, if you MUST get a puppy - then DARE could point you in a good direction -
but the RIGHT direction is still RESCUE!
