Conversion under coercion I believe is false. The person does not believe. They are just trying to survive.

Spain was ruled by Muslims for 500 years, but they remained as a minority even after 500 years. .Where are the Muslims in Spain now? Who killed them? they were only spared if they accept Christianity. Today you can find many spanish people with Arabic names but they are Christians.
India was ruled by So called Muslim Rulers. Muslims remained as a Minority till last when British took over.
So, why many people blame Muslims for coercing people to convert into their religion. Please read the history instead of having prjudice against Muslims..
Holy Quran says in verse 2:256, There is no compulsion in Religion
Again Holy Quran Says in Verse 109:06, For you be your religion and for me be my religion.

Yes, it has been very successful. Why do you think people believe in the gods of christianity today? At the time of invasion, the current individuals can be forced to practice your religion and pass it on to their children, but they would only be doing this to avoid death. The children and the generations that follow will be infected by the invading idea, and will thus believe it. Once an idea becomes commonly accepted as truth, the previous generations beliefs are tossed aside as errant and inconsequential.

Society has concluded that any decision coerced under duress is not considered real. I believe this would be the same thing so my answer would be no you can not force someone to truly believe in your God.

No, that's not true conversion, and the people who are doing that are not even worthy of being called followers of God. God is loving and never uses force, but rather lets us have our own free will.

No. The people that say "yeah, we'll convert" at gunpoint probably still practice their original religion in secret
