How do you eat your watermelon?

Question

I know some people put salt on it, some drizzle it with honey and lemon juice. As for me, I just eat it as is right out of the rind with a fork and knife. I've been partial to seedless lately, but its not a must- as long as its super sweet I'm happy! What about you?

if it is sweet enough - lots of juice, just slice it and eat - fork/knife optional.

sometimes a bit of salt. to get the juices really going.

always seeing who can spit the seeds the furtherest.

I never even use a fork and knife.We cut our slices small and thin so you can just pick up the piece and have it eaten in about 5 bites.Sweet is a must and cold...We are a 2 large watermelon family now.....

I have never heard of salt being put on it. I like it just as it is, pips included!! Mmm, fancy some now actually.

I know Jamie Oliver once cut the top off and scooped some out and then poured in a whole bottle of vodka. In my drinking days that would have sounded quite attractive!!

I eat mine right off the rind. nothing on it. no fork or knife. just the piece of watermelon and my mouth

Sometimes put salt on it, sometimes I just pick it up and eat it without a fork.

I cut it in half and then shove my face into it, sucking and slurping up all the lovely watermelony goodness.

It's a messy method I know, but man, the satisfaction is totally worth it.

I like to eat it in triangles, and I pick out all the visible seeds before I start so it's easy eating!

I like to eat watermelon that's cut into cubes. I don't put anything on my watermelon.
