zodiac flea drops?

Question

How well does this work, compared to the others on the market? They offer much more than advantix, etc. with IGR, and many other ways to kill of fthe little buggers. BUT DOES IT WORK?
I'd love to hear from anyone who's had sucess with them...

Zodiac flea treatment has a lousy reputation, and rightly so. They're right down there with Bob Martin (my most hated brand in the world, their stuff is poisonous) as far as I'm concerned.

I found a review site that gave Zodiac 1 and 1/2 stars out of five - there were a lot of accounts of people whose pets had experienced reactions after use of this product, I wish I could find the darn website!!

Don't use flea treatment from pet shops. Basically, shops are not licensed to sell the drugs used in modern flea treatments so their stuff is hugely outdated - ineffective, and often dangerous. Get your treatment from your vets - it is more expensive, but it's worth it to know that what you buying is safe and is actually going to work. Recommend Frontline!

EDIT: Oh and by the way - Frontline Plus contains IGR too - that is methoprene, which kills the flea eggs, so preventing the fleas from multiplying in your environment. It does what Zodiac claims to do but it actually works, and is safe!

I think you need to do a couple of searches for ADVERSE REACTIONS to Zodiac flea control. What you find might shock you. MANY dogs have been injured in health and even killed by these over the counter crap drugs. You are looking at harsh chemicals here and whether or not they work is not all you should convern yourself with. Safety first! Some breeds are more prone to have adverse reactions then others too so look at the whole picture.
