I find the room temperature very low in my son's daycare and he has all the time a runny nose. I don't know if they keep him dressed inside as outside or the other way around. What should I do ?

70 degrees. Why have the temp. so low?? they have soap disinf. and bleach solutions to keep the room germ-free! 68 dgrs.is too cold! Just ask nicely if they can turn up the temp. a nutch so your kid won't get sick. And no, it's not normal for a kid to have a runny nose constantly!...if the temp is right, i would check for allergies...?

it is normal for kids in daycare to have a runny nose. it is just a part of it. they have runny noses from being around diff kids with diff germs. it's no big deal. as far as the temp, it's good that they keep it a little cool there. it keeps the place clean.ever notice that it is always cold in hospitals? that's why, it keeps germs from spreading easily.
