After 5 years of living in a basement bedroom separated, after 17 years of on and off again relationship, I am alittle sick of no companionship. Should I wait the D is over to date?

NO I thought we had a date! I have blew the fuse in my hair dryer making sure my was Thong dry on time, U cant let me down now.

I dated while my divorce was in progress, because I had been apart for 2 years from my ex, I think it is up to each person to decide this or not, I knew it would not affect my divorce anyway, and my ex husband was dating someone else also.

Yes. You need to wait until everything is legally finished. Once you start dating, some might ask if you're already divorced, and if you say "it's in the works" they won't stick around =)

No - not unless there are children and there is a serious chance of a reconciliation - here there appears to be no chance.

Unless adultery is a ground in your State that can supersede a no fault separation ground, because if it is, then you could conceivably affect financial outcomes.

Why would you? If you are seperated it certainly won't hurt to go to the movies or out to dinner with someone. Everyone needs companionship. Have Fun....

No way what the hell are you waiting for if the papers are filed go for it and if they are not file them don't waste your life waiting for nothing get out there and have some much deserved fun!!!...=P
