No you don't, but you will need the endorsement of either a congressman/congresswoman or senator to apply. If you go the military route, you cannot be married or have any kids. Those two points will deny you acceptance into any of the service academies. Good luck.

No you do not but it does help you can apply and go fresh out of high school and come out an officer in the Navy but prior service does help as you would know your Navy stuff and have a jump start ahead of your class.

no, you just need excellent grades, be a US citizen, single with no children and be able to score an appointment to the Academy.

N O, not necessarily, but ROTC might help and
