Seriously, why? It isn't like you're going to convert them "to your side" by mocking them. Plus, doing that isn't very Christian anyway, is it? What happened to loving your neighbor as yourself, and loving your enemy? Are you so insecure in your own beliefs that you're afraid just reading what they say will take away your religion? Wouldn't it be best to demonstrate your faith by setting an example of tolerance? I'm Christian, and some behavior here (not by overt trolls- behavior from those who seem to really believe what they're saying) disturbs me.

Please give me some insight as to why you're scared. Thanks!

Oy... it kind of is that we atheists give it and take it... but I would said we use more sarcism while some Christians actually mean what they are saying... as well as wish us really to go to hell...

You'll have to do better than this if you are going to pretend to be a Christian. If you can't see that it is the Atheists who mock Christians and God you must be blind. Loving my enemy is one thing tolerating evil is another. As a Christian you should know that what I believe can not be taken from me by anyone. Are you not setting yourself up as a judge? Judging others being self righteous all the while? There is nothing that you have written above to cause me to think of you as a Christian perhaps you need to self re-evaluate.

I think people mock atheists all the time because they are tired of being called ignorant because they choose to think for themselves and follow a religion. One can love an enemy, ... but it doesn't mean I have to like him... nor does it mean I have to sit back and be ridiculed by them.
I would much rather see actual discussions held here rather than bashing anyone.
Peace be with you.

Well, I <3 most of the Atheists on here, they liven up the place, but . . . they *do* do quite a bit of bashing themselves, it's usually funny and who knows who started the Xtian/Atheist feud to begin with, but it's not like they're helpless, they can take care of themselves

But your right, it's not very Christian and they usually lash out when an Atheist makes a valid point.

I've always felt that thier futile attempts at "disproving logic" is kind of amusng. those that do that is, not all the people on this board who are religious zealots, and of those that are, not all of them do this nor do they display this kind of stupidity.

Like watching a hamster run around in a wheel, not realizing he is running in a wheel going around and around not going anywhere and just engaging in some nonsensical activity that is at the end of the day, pointless and displays only the stupidity of the person.

Why do Atheists and other non-religious people on here mock Christians all the time? It's a two way street.

I'm an atheist and I have no issues with christians trying to mock me or other atheists. It's usually good for a laugh, bigotry and spelling errors and all.

Plus you must have seen that it goes the other way too.
The fun question is, who started? ;)

You’re assuming that everyone who calls themselves Christians are really Christian. Read 1st John.

My husband is athiest. I love athiest. They challenge me and my beliefs and make me stop and think of what I REALLY believe. It gives me a different aspect of faith by not having any at all.
Do I frown on those that bash all faiths? Sure. But hey you have fanatics everywhere.
