Great question.

When I was a toddler I absolutely loved the Wooden Tops (although I was scared of Spotty Dog for some strange reason).

when I was slightly older Camberwick Green and Trumpton became my favourites, and when I grew up a bit more I moved on to Blue Peter.

Childrens shows have come and gone, and I grew out of many, but there is one show I've watched and loved from the age of 2 to the present day. It was originally aimed at children, but was never only a "children's show", and has always appealed to adults and children alike. Doctor Who is second to none.

I would love to see a British children's show from the 1950's.

I am American. I am partial to the Teletubbies and Boobah.

My toddler loves them both.

If you can suggest some shows I will find them (maybe on video or DVD, possibly on in UK format but okay) and look at them and rate them.

have a good day

This could go on for quite a while, considering how TV was limited in 'our' day compared to now!!

The Adventure Game on in the 80's people got transported to space in a bus and had to collect credits then get accross a platform at the end. I think there was a talking plant in it as well. Not many remember it, but I loved it.

Birds on your u . s . don't like it adequate. The anime explosion in united states of america and different areas of Asia began with the shoujo manga industry. Britain does not have that super a industry for shoujo manga, so the anime revolution hasn't moved there yet. to boot that, brits have a diverse variety of humour and experience from something of the worldwide. we are crass while in comparison with you brits, and anime is commonly somewhat crass by potential of nature, so not a lot of human beings like anime there.

Doctor Who.
It was the best show in 1963 and is still the best in 2007. I loved it as a kid and I love it now - it is fantastic. I hope that if I ever have kids of my own then the Doctor and the Tardis will still be on TV to defeat the monsters.
