The soul is almost like a symbol, it is what makes us who we are. Now, when we get to heaven, our soul exists, but our body stays on Earth, hopfully in a tomb, and disolves off into ashes. In Heaven, our soulls exist, yet our bodies do not. In Hell, you still have a soul, but of wickedness and anger. Some say that if you try to be good for a really long time and pray in Hell, you will be put into Pergitory, the middle place seporating Heaven from Hell. It is not Earth, it is a place where people who have commited a mortil sin or two go to where they try to do, as they say, "Good Deads" so they can get to Heaven and escape the fires of Hell. Even there, you have a soul. I know it sounds strange, but that is my belief. And I know some people would say that I am wrong, but that is just because they are following their religion. I am Catholic, an that is why I say these things.

The soul would have to exist first. God, Heaven, Hell, souls, and spirits are all just superstition. They aren't real.
