wheezer, domain, which is a synonym for dominion in this case means having supreme authority over. does that help you out? so yes, it does mean power and control...

They weren't created to hurt us. After the flood, Noah was instructed to eat animals, as the vegetation had died. Before the flood, humans were vegetarian. Animals didn't hurt us, we didn't hurt them. Unfortunately, after we were given the go-ahead to kill them for meat, they were given the go-ahead to fight back. We do have dominion over them, we raise livestock, and we're to be good stewards over the creatures. We kill the animals we think its fun to kill, though I don't comprehend this, its been in existance for thousands of years, which is why so many species are becoming extinct. That's what you'd call not being good stewards.

perhaps you should look up definitions of the word domain. The word doesn't mean power and control. Also animals only kill humans occasionally when threatened or extremely hungry. We kill them for sport and hang their heads on our walls...consider that. Watch the movie Predator II, that might give you some perspective.

They kill because they need food, feel threatened, etc. The Bible is not the reason for animals being subdued or being violent. Just because YOU believe that we have domainion over them doesn't mean that is fact!

Animals kill humans if the human is in their territory. Rarely because they are hungry. I will ignore your God references.

Because they are animals and it's their base instinct.
