I had my son 12 weeks ago.The first 2 weeks I lost 20 lbs, that included his weight and all the stuff that comes out with giving birth. I have only lost one damn pound since.I gained 35 lbs.So I weight 139 at 5'1 right now, and I feel dumpy.I was 125 before this pregnancy, but even that was alittle too much.I'm eating pretty good, and have been active.I don't have time for a regular excersise routine, with a newborn, a 4 year old, and alot of pets, but I have been walking when I can, and doing alot of yard work? Ant other mOms have trouble? Does your body hold on to the weight for the first 3 months for a reason?

I did weight watchers and ended up losing all the baby weight and then some. That's the one I've been most successful with ever. My son is three now and I've been able to keep it off with their program.

It took me 10-11 months to get back my body. There will be periods of time you're losing weight steadily every week and there'll be other peiods where your weight stays constant. You're already keeping yourself active and walk a lot which is great. If your local gym/community centre offers mother-baby fitness classes that's great. My community centre had a drop-in care centre for babies/kids over 6 months old while you go to your class with your less-than 6-months old (or until your baby starts to roll/crawl away.)

Do you have a front carrier? like a bjorn. This makes it soooo much easier to do things with 2 kids, even walks to the park, and playing with the 4 year old at the playground.

Plus get a fitness ball. My kids as infants and toddlers loved to bounce on it with me, not in a shaken baby way though. Gabrielle Reece did a bit on Oprah about how she did this with her kids.

Its very likely that you're just not giving your body what it needs. you could be eating too much, not eating enough, not enough exercise. Its hard to go at it alone. I highly suggest weight watchers. It spells out what you need and dont need. Believe it or not but if you arent eating enough your body will NOT lose weight.
