The answer you're going to get is that god has no beginning and no end. Christianity is about 2,000 years old, so that would be how long there's been a "Christian" god, I guess. Except, of course, that there's no god at all.

Moses seems to have invented the god he called YHWH given as Yahweh or wrongly as Jehovah. If Moses himself really lived, he has been dated about 1450-1250 BCE. That makes the god of Judaism, Christianity and Mormonism and probably Islam about 3457 years old at most...or 3257 at least.

An attribute of any God is ETERNAL, meaning "having always existed". That's part of what qualifies Him to be God. Just like being all powerful does, and so does being the Creator of everything else that exists.

We have a beginning point. He does not. That's what makes him infinite, and us finite.

There is no way we can know. He's never told anyone. From eternity to eternity is a relative term because the ancient Hebrews didn't have the same concept of "forever" that we do. But we won't know until he tells us.

God has always been around but created the Earth 6000-10000 years ago approx. What was he doing before hand?

Infinite, no beginning, no end. It would be difficult for you to comprehend because you are finite and can only relate to a finite world. To people like you, all things have to have a beginning and an end. God does not.
