There is a place in my left thigh that just started burning last week. It's not really warm to the touch, and there's no rash or redness. It doesn't really hurt, either. It just burns. I haven't injured myself recently. And I'm not under a particularly large amount of stress. It's not constant burning, it just comes and goes. I tend to notice it more when I'm sitting, but it can happen at any time. Any clue as to what's going on here??

this could be a minor nerve irritation. You can apply ice pack for ten minutes in a time, several times a day to help with the burning sensation. It's always best to see your medical doctor and find out what is going on. Problems in the legs can be serious because of circulation problems and the relation to the heart.

A burning sensation is related to a nerve problem. Possible impinged nerve in your back. Had the same thing with my neck.
